Are you an experienced audit professional looking for an opportunity to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly motivated  Audit Manager to join one of our best clients in Colorado Springs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute audit testing procedures on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, investments, and accrued liabilities.
  • Develop comprehensive audit documentation addressing planning, risk assessment, and findings.
  • Collaborate with client personnel to investigate discrepancies and analyze financial data for accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing management letters and audit reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside senior leadership, providing valuable insights and fostering meaningful relationships.
  • Review and refine audit work to ensure precision and adherence to established standards.
  • Manage multiple audit projects simultaneously, while maintaining deadlines and budgets.
  • Utilize financial tools and software, including  Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, to streamline audit processes.
  • Contribute to team development by  sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced staff members.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audits.
• Active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Proficiency in performing financial audits and preparing related documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of basic journal entries and financial principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
