This flexible role is perfect for individuals who can work a few days during the week, during our high-demand periods, with the option to pick up additional work outside of these times if desired.This position is ideal for a caregiver who thrives in a fun and dynamic environment and enjoys working with children of various ages, from infants to school-aged children.Care is provided in family homes, for our exclusive partner hotels and for local events. Flexibility to travel to different locations within Richmond, VA and surrounding areas is required.Schedule Options:Work primarily during peak childcare demand hours during weekdays, with the option to take on additional days and hours outside of peak times if desired (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)Work primarily Weekend hours on occasions when neededWork primarily Evening hours on occasions when neededStarting Salary:$18 - $20/hour, with potential for bonus payResponsibilities:Provide engaging, age-appropriate care for children (infants to 9 years old)Travel to various family homes, hotels or event venuesDeliver exceptional, professional childcare and follow our high standards of serviceGeneral Job Requirements:Experience: 1-3 years of professional verifiable childcare experience(nanny, paid babysitter, teacher, teacher's assistant/paraprofessional, daycare worker, camp or recreation worker, au pair, pediatric nurse, etc.)Skills: Experience caring for infants through school-aged childrenAge: Minimum of 18 years oldAvailability: Have at least 2-3 days per weekday or 2 - 4 days per month availability for weekend or evening shiftSpecial Job Requirements for Bonuses Eligibility:Peak-Time Availability: Have at least (5) week 8-10-hour days per week 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM availabilityWeekend Availability: Have at least (3) weekend days per month availabilityEvening Availability: Have at least (2) weekday evenings per week availabilityMust submit an official company application within 24 hours of responding to job postMust submit request documents within 48 hours of responding to job postMust submit set an official virtual interview within 72 hours of responding to job postMust respond to our messages within 24 hours"These requirements are intended to demonstrate candidate's professionalism and genuine interest in the position."Other General Job Requirements:Transportation:Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicleActive Uber or Lyft account for vehicle emergenciesMust have extensive travel flexibility outside of your immediate city and countyCertification: CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification)Flexibility: Must be able to travel at least 45 minutes to 1 hour one wayReferences: 1-2 strong references or letters of recommendationPet-Friendly: Comfortable in homes with cats and dogsWork Authorization: US citizenship or work authorization requiredBackground Check: Must have clean criminal and driving recordsBenefits:Flexible, Seasonal, Part-time availabilityCreate your own schedulePaid travel incentives when availableAccess to professional training and supportOpportunities for bonuses during peak periods"This is an on-call position within our backup childcare division, and daily work is not guaranteed.""We reimburse you on your first pay if you need us to check your criminal history."
