We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in DFW Airport, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of accounts and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances. This position requires a strong background in B2B collections, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to handle high transaction volumes efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of 300-400 customers, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances ranging from $3-5 million.
• Collaborate with international customers to address and resolve disputes related to payments.
• Monitor and reduce accounts overdue by 91+ days, contributing to the resolution of a $9 million backlog.
• Utilize Oracle Cloud and advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP to analyze account data.
• Communicate effectively with the Collections Lead and team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline collection processes and improve recovery rates.
• Handle high-traffic transactional accounts with professionalism and accuracy.
• Provide detailed account reporting to stakeholders and recommend actionable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during all collection activities.• Proven experience in commercial collections, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
• Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to resolve disputes effectively.
• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts and transactions.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Familiarity with international collections is preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
