Job Description

Vaco is partnering with a client in Oklahoma City , OK to identify a Controller with strong experience in financial management, job costing, and work-in-process (WIP) accounting. This role offers the opportunity to lead accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and play a key role in driving process improvements and business growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee divisional financials (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Manage job costing and WIP accounting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Background in construction, electrical/low voltage, or fire suppression industries strongly preferred.

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
