Corporate Business Seminars Event Planner (Paid Per Attendee)
Location: Metro Detroit, MI (Hybrid/Remote with on-site event requirements)
Commitment: Part-time, flexible schedule; evenings/weekends may be required depending on event dates
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Corporate Business Seminars Event Planner to organize professional seminars for business leaders and executives. The planner will be responsible for end-to-end event management, including attendee recruitment, sponsorship outreach, and post-event follow-up. Compensation is paid per attendee registered and confirmed .
Responsibilities
Plan and manage corporate seminar events (in-person or hybrid) from concept to execution.
Coordinate venues, catering, AV, and logistics for seamless seminar delivery.
Develop strategies to attract business leaders, executives, and professionals to attend.
Collaborate with corporate partners, sponsors, and associations to boost registrations.
Manage event promotion through email campaigns, LinkedIn, press releases, and community/business networks.
Track registrations and ensure accurate attendee reporting.
Provide on-site support during seminars, including setup, attendee check-in, and schedule management.
Requirements
Proven experience in event planning, corporate seminars, or business workshops.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with business executives and sponsors.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and vendor relationships.
Familiarity with Eventbrite, LinkedIn Events, or other registration platforms.
Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by performance-based outcomes.
