Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, Onsite- Part-Time; Lenexa, KS

We are currently seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our diverse and dynamic team. As an EHS Manager at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

What you will be doing
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to management and employees on EHS-related issues, including training, awareness, and emergency response.
  • Monitoring and analyzing EHS performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, occupational health & safety, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CEP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechNlogy, or healthcare setting.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
