Vaco Staffing Medical Billing Specialist

Vaco Staffing is seeking Medical Billing Specialists for temporary to hire opportunities. Responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining missing information.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claims.
3. Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframes.
4. Checking insurance payments for accuracy and contract compliance.
5. Contacting insurance companies regarding payment discrepancies when necessary.
