14133 - Oracle Database Administrator (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with managing Oracle Enterprise version 19c database instances (5+ years);
• Experience with troubleshooting Oracle database administration and connection problems (5+ years);
• Experience with monitoring Oracle performance metrics (5+ years);
• Experience reviewing physical schema models (3+ years);
• Experience with Oracle EM (3+ years);
• Experience working with Red Hat Linux or Oracle Linux command line syntax and crontab (3+ years);
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (1+ years);
• Experience with computer operations, systems and procedures;
• Experience with Unix commands and concepts;
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS administration tools and processes.
• Experience with database structures and theories.
• Experience with current database technologies.
• Experience with data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain databases for development, testing, production, data warehousing, and public access;
• Monitor and review database systems to ensure operational efficiency, integrity, and security;
• Record, track, and investigate problems reported by users, and take corrective actions to resolve issues;
• Monitor database performance across all services to ensure maximum uptime availability;
• Administer and maintain database systems and VM instances in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenancy;
• Identify and meet the needs of customers by providing excellent customer service;
• Develop short-range and long-range database storage and growth estimations.
