Job Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of employees working in manufacturing. Provides oversight to ensure a safe, effective and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring conformance to all quality standards, applicable SOP’s and GMP’s. Has a thorough understanding of equipment operation and basic machine troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a leadership role in the manufacturing industry preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual preferred – ability to communicate in English and Spanish
• Sharp production focus with a drive for achieving set goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands: The ideal candidate will be able to:

· Work in a hot work environment

· Stay on their feet for the duration of their shift

· Lift up to 50 pounds

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all aspects of manufacturing on your shift

· Enforce company policies 

· A champion for Safety 

· Assume responsibility for production personnel, production metrics, equipment and facility condition

· Communicate with Production Supervisors from other shifts as well as with upper management

· Minimize scrap and maximize production

· Understand machine operations and be able to fix basic machine problems

· Identify root causes and be able to quickly bring resolution to issues
