Position Overview
A North Dakota school district is urgently seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students in grades K12 during the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with two school locations in close proximity.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and staff

• Adapt lessons to meet academic, behavioral, and emotional needs

• Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and school leadership

• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications



Required: North Dakota SPED certification OR interest in enrolling in the ND Para-to-Teacher program



Preferred:

• Experience in K12 settings

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Ability to travel between school sites if needed

Position Details

• Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

• Locations: 1 opening Elementary (K5) , 2 openings High School (912)

• Contract: August 20, 2025 May 22, 2026

• Caseload: To be determined; approx. 300 students district-wide

• Pay Rate: $30$40/hour, depending on experience and budget

Candidates with SPED certification in North Dakota will be prioritized. However, applicants with paraprofessional experience and a strong desire to grow in the field are encouraged to apply.
