This full-time Special Education Teacher position focuses on serving 6th-8th grade students in a Level C Behavior Classroom within an elementary school setting. The contract spans the full school year and is based in Tempe, AZ. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to supporting students with behavioral and learning challenges by implementing individualized education plans and fostering a positive, structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to 6th-8th grade students with behavioral needs.
• Develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues and families.
• Manage classroom behavior using effective strategies aligned with Level C classroom requirements.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development.
• Maintain compliance with state and district special education policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher certification.
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience working with middle school students in a special education behavioral setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
