Position Summary Guerdon is seeking qualified applications for experienced Tile Installers. Tasks involve physical labor installing tile, stone, laminate, and vinyl to be applied to flooring, shower walls, countertops, and backsplashes. Responsibilities Install floor tile and countertops. Install complex tile patterns. Be able to install vinyl plank flooring. Must be able to install tile and vinyl base. Waterproof shower units and grout joints. Cut, measure, and glue pieces of stone together. Ability to mix mortars as needed. Requirements Experience using a manual cutter, tile spacers, grout floats, tile mortar mixer, tile pincers, diamond drill bits, and tile saw. Experience being precise, clean, and detailed‑oriented. Proficient knowledge in commercial/residential construction and other structures. Compliance with all safety guidelines and procedures. Skills and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to organize and work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism. Self‑starter with the ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to use hands to operate office equipment and construction‑related tools. Visual acuity to read blueprints, technical documents, and computer screens. Hearing ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
