ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Monday through Friday assignment
\n• 13-week assignment length
\n• Alaska RN license required for submission
\n• Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
\n• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS
\n• Must have experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
\n• Must independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors
\n• Preferred: 1 year experience recovering open heart surgeries less than 12 hours post-operative
\n• Work with Alaris IV pumps and other ICU equipment
\n• Perform procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
\n• Floating required per union contract - may float to MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab, or SPCU when unit is overstaffed
\n• Work alongside 8 RNs per shift including 1 charge nurse and 7-8 staff RNs

The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and maintains modern equipment to support complex patient care needs. The unit focuses on cardiac patients including those recovering from open heart surgeries and requires nurses capable of managing high-acuity patients with advanced life support interventions. The facility operates under union contract guidelines and maintains structured staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care.
