Position: Controller 
Location: Onsite | Milford, CT

Our client company is seeking an experienced Operations Controller to lead financial planning, cost accounting, and budgeting. This strategic role supports the General Manager in ensuring GAAP compliance, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Analyze manufacturing costs, identify variances, and prepare financial reports.
Oversee standard cost systems and annual cost roll processes.
Collaborate with manufacturing and product teams to refine costing.
Prepare monthly P&Ls, journal entries, and internal financial statements.
Conduct product profitability, investment, and pricing analyses.
Oversee inventory controls and liaise with corporate finance functions.
Lead annual physical inventory and new product cost evaluations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–7+ years in manufacturing finance or cost accounting, with leadership experience.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial systems, and budgeting principles.
Advanced skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and Microsoft Office.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
